Car Ambience doesn’t appear in CarPlay
On your iPhone, open Settings › General › CarPlay, choose your car, tap Customize and make sure Car Ambience is in the list of apps. Then disconnect and reconnect your iPhone. Updating iOS can also help.
Why does video play only when I’m parked?
For your safety. Each time CarPlay connects, the app asks whether you are parked or driving. Parked shows the scene on the car screen. Driving plays sound only, for the scenes that have it, with nothing moving on screen.
How do I switch between Parked and Driving?
Use the Parked / Driving button in the top right of the car screen. Playback continues where it was.
Some scenes don’t show up while driving
Most scenes are visual only. While driving, only scenes with sound, like the fires, are listed.
The picture doesn’t fill my car screen
Tap the screen to show the controls, then choose Fit, Fill or Zoom. You can also set it in the app’s Settings.
Can the last scene start by itself when I get in?
Yes. In Settings, turn on “Resume my last loop”. It starts right after you answer Parked or Driving.
A scene won’t load or keeps buffering
Scenes stream over the internet. Check your iPhone’s mobile data or Wi-Fi connection, and that mobile data is allowed for Car Ambience in Settings.
I bought something but it isn’t unlocked
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases, using the same Apple ID you bought with. To manage or cancel a subscription, open your App Store account settings.
How do I delete my data?
Your settings live only on your iPhone, so deleting the app removes them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
